I had revisited this game, and it was nostalgic, sure. But I realized after few fun games, that some levels required ponys that you had to buy. I was very saddened to realize that you only could unlock the ponys with real cash, and the fact it could be very repetitive at times. Overall, the game concept is cool and all, but the parts of needing to buy ponys to progress is a no for me.

TLDR: Don't get this game, unless you wanna pay a $20 annual fee to finish the game. Overall the game itself is decent, gameplay is simple and fun, decent story, unique powers for the ponies, but it's drawback is having to pay for more than 2 characters in order to even finish the game. You cannot replay levels you've already played so there's no replay value, and you're forced to pay real money to get the characters. Ultimately, the game becomes a waste of time.

The game is really cute, and I like how simple the story and game play is. However, it really sucks that you can only play as two free characters and have to pay actual money to get the rest of the Mane Six. You can't use game currency, which is odd and a bit unfair since this game is intended for kids. It should be going up in level/collecting enough game currency can unlock the other ponies. That's how other mlp games I play do it. Which is more fun and encourages you to play more.
